Most of our reproductions are based on archaeological and historical evidence. If you want something fanciful or of your own design, thats fine - please contact us and we may be able to do it as a custom project. We cater to reenactors and re-creationists that want to build thier own arms and equipment. Additionally, we can make complete, finished arms, shields and scabbards and even armor custom. Please contact us to inquire for pricing on complete arms and shields. Our battle ready blades are forged to shape, ground, heat treated and polished. The run around $12/inch of blade length.
 
(Please remember these products take time to reproduce! If it does not expressly say "IN STOCK", our usual production time is a few days to a week at minimum. If you need it by a certain date, please contact us to see if we can do it. Large projects (like armor and blades) can take a month or more to complete. We do this as a side business, so it takes time to make something great.

All of these shield bosses are made from heavy 16 to 18 gauge sheet iron and are strong enough to stand up to real steel combat, SCA battles or other mock fighting. They will have rough forge scale removed from the outer face, and will be given a cursory polishing, but we will leave them for you to polish once you have assembled your shield. This way you can achieve the desired finish at the appropriate time. We recommend a fine "scotch-brite" pad, or some steel wool with a little oil or even a very fine sandpaper. A buffing wheel attached to a grinder or a high speed drill will work as well to achieve a highly polished surface, should you desire such a finish. 

All of our blades are 100% hand crafted in our shop. These are likely closer to the "real" ones than many of the foreign made ones available from retailers of reproductions. Ours are hand forged to shape and then ground, filed, polished just like the originals. We don't cut a blade blank and then simply grind it down on a belt grinder to shape! We can also do damascus/pattern welded blades.  Our blade pricing is about $12/inch of finished blade. We can make other styles of blades as well, but please contact us for pricing.
