A common (and very necessary) tool for traditional hearth and camp cooking. Ours has a hook on the end to hang it up with your other utensils when not in use. Used for lifting hot and heavy lids off pots, dutch ovens, etc. Also  for moving hot pots from one part of the fire to another - on to and off of hot coals.

The small "s-hook" is extremely useful. It has many uses in cooking, but is really intended for use as a pot hanger. It can suspend a pot over a fire, hang something off a fire crane, etc. Those who know hearth cooking know how handy it can be to have these. About 5" long.

The trammel hook is fully adjustable and goes from about 10" long to about 18" long. This makes it easy to position a pot at just the right height over the fire.

This incredibly versatile set has been used in one version or another for centuries. Superb reproduction for living history and reenactors as it has been used for so long.
