                        Company Policies and FAQ:

                        Orders:

                        Orders can be placed directly on this site. We can also accept orders via email or over the phone. Please feel free to use the "online store" feature of this site to place an online order. PayPal is safe, easy and convenient.
                         
                        You DO NOT need a PayPal account to place an order on our website! When you click on an "Add To Cart" button, it begins a "shopping cart" for your order through PayPal (A new window will pop up). When you are done shopping click on "Check Out" button in your shopping cart. You can pay through an existing PayPal account OR make your purchase as a PayPal "guest" (you would simply enter your credit card info and submit your order securely as a one time purchase). This transaction takes place through PayPal and they actually charge your credit card. We never actually even see your credit card number. WE then get paid through PayPal and ship your order. It just that simple - and secure. Paypal is the world's largest online transaction company and have a very strong and secure track record with customers. We have never had a problem with this process!

                        Please be aware that, at the moment, we are only able to accept credit card payment though orders placed on the website.

                        Should you wish to place an order by email or by phone we would NOT be able to accept payment via credit card - we can take checks or money order if you are more comfortable ordering and paying this way. Simply call in your order or email us here. We can total up your order, figure the cost of shipping and reply with the total to send. Upon receipt of payment we will ship your order promptly (assuming it is in stock).

                        Please be sure to include the following information in an email order:

                        1. Your full name.
                        2. Your shipping address (and billing address if it is different).
                        3. A telephone number you can be reached at. (Obviously we will have your email address if you email the order...)
                        4. Your items that you want. Be sure to include quantity for each - tell us how many of each item. (Please be specific and use our names for them)

                        If you should choose to call-in an order, please do not leave orders on our voice mail. We only say this because we want to serve you the best way we can and we fear that a voice mail message is not enough time to get us all the information for your order that you deserve. Please leave us a message and a number to call you back and one of our team will call you ASAP. This way we can take your order in person to ensure that we get all the proper information!

                        Payment:

                        If you are paying for purchases on the online store: you will pay securely through PayPal and that takes place outside of our website. (We actually never even see your credit card number this way.) PayPal Checkout is encrypted and more secure than our website. This is the fastest, easiest method and is our preferred method of payment!

                        Payment for catalog items purchased via check or money order as well. It should be noted that, because personal checks can bounce, we reserve the right to withhold shipment of an order until payment clears. This can sometimes take a long time (it has taken two weeks with certain banks). In order to avoid this delay, please send a cashier's check or money orders as these are certified funds. If you are mailing in payment, PLEASE DO NOT SEND ACTUAL CASH! It is not safe for buyer or seller. Returned checks (bounced checks or otherwise) will result in a $20.00 returned check fee to be added to your billing with the original amount due.

                        And, of course you can buy directly from us at an event we will take cash, check and money order at events. Hopefully st some point in the near future we will be able to take credit cards in person. We try to attend various Ren Faires, SCA and living history events all over. Please check our Calendar to see where we will be. If there is something you want us to bring for you, you can purchase it ahead of time and we can TRY to bring it to the event for you for you to pick up. Please call and coordinate such a rendezvous.

                        Sales Tax:

                        Colorado residents will have applicable sales tax applied to their orders (2.9% state sales tax, plus local tax if applicable).

                        Production Time:

                        Certain reproduction pieces take time to make. Therefore, if an item isn't in stock, please be advised that it could take up to 30 days to get the thing made and in the mail for you. This is mostly for large ticket items like arms and armor (we try to get these things made in a month or less, but for very special order or custom jobs, it can take longer than 30 days. Smaller items from our catalog can usually be produced an a few days to a week at most. If you need something by a certain date, please contact us and inquire. We can determine if we can have it done in time for you. We do this on the side (we have day jobs too) and labor time is limited. If you are patient, you will end up with an awesome piece that you will be proud to use and show off - but it can take time...

                        Returns:

                         If you wish to return the product for a full refund, it must be returned to us in UN-USED CONDITION WITHIN 14 DAYS OF RECEIPT OF ORDER. Items returned in used condition will not be able to be returned. Items received more than  14 days from the time of the attempted return will not be refunded or replaced. All products are warranted for construction and workmanship for one year from purchase.

                        Custom Orders:
                        If we are doing custom armour fitted only to you, a custom railing, bannister, gate or possibly even a fantasy sword of some kind that you have had a hand in designing: If you change your mind and decide you don't want it, then we are not only stuck with the cost of materials and labor spent on the thing, but we can never re-sell it, because no one would buy something that is so customized to you and your specifications! Because of this fact....There will be no refunds on special order / custom items. If your project becomes a "custom" job, this is our policy, so caveat emptor! If you order it custom, all sales are final.

                        Shipping & Handling:

                        We prefer to ship via U.S.P.S. Please understand: Shipping on ironwork can be expensive as it is heavy. We make every effort to ship you your product in the most economical way possible while still ensuring that you get you product in one piece. We charge shipping by total purchase price. The shipping cost will be added in automatically in an online PayPal order. Because of this, the minimum shipping charge is $11.95 U.S. On very small orders, your shipping could exceed the cost of your products. Please be aware of this. We can ship outside the US, but be advised, international freight is quite expensive for ironwork! It may be that your shipping does not cost exactly what you paid. It should be noted that this is a "shipping and HANDLING" charge.

                        If you need an order by a certain date (like for a particular day or event), please call or email us before you order and ensure that we can make it happen -this way, you don't place an order and could possibly be disappointed if it can't be done in time! We want to try to get you what you want and get it to you when you need it. 
                         
                        Arms Policy:
                        All arms and armor reproductions on these pages are intended as collectibles and are for novelty only. We will not knowingly sell replica weapon to anyone under the age of eighteen (18) years old. Sorry. If you are under 18 and wish to purchase a replica weapon from us, you will have to do it through someone who is at least 18 years of age. Sorry kiddos, too much liability :-(

                        Cancelling Orders:

                        If you should decide to cancel an order we ask that you do so AS SOON AS POSSIBLE after the purchase and that you contact us immediately and let us know. If we have already shipped your product, we will refund the purchase amount when it is returned for a refund within 14 days.
